| UCF welcomes a new Trustee |

UCF is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Trustee, Jacquie Teera. Jacquie is a Ugandan national currently residing in the UK. In Uganda she was part of the Integrated Lake Management Project team which worked to introduce Beach Management Units around Lakes George and Edward. This project was funded by DFID and Care International. Her knowledge in these areas will be of direct benefit to the UCF Waterways and Dura projects. Jacquie remains devoted to the cause of conservation and helping to empower the poorest communities in Uganda and sees her appointment as the perfect opportunity to continue helping the communities in the south west region of Uganda. Welcome on board, Jacquie. |
