DSWF has been working with UCF since 2001 in the Queen Elizabeth Protected Area, to tackle elephant crop raiding, poaching problems and transboundary management in the Ishasha region and more recently, to combat illegal activity such as poaching and the bushmeat trade across Lakes Edward, George and Albert.
The International Elephant Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1998 for the purpose of contributing expertise and providing funds to support elephant conservation programs worldwide, including protection of elephants in the wild and of their habitats, scientific research, education efforts, and improvements in captive elephant care.
SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove – have initiated and supported wildlife conservation, research, and education at home and around the world.
Tusk promotes the preservation of all wild animals in their natural habitat in Africa and their protection from extinction for the public benefit. Tusk has supported the ECP project to cover the general running costs and sensitisation and education work.
Both companies specialize in luxury African Safaris in Uganda, Rwanda and beyond. The owner, Patrick Shah, is a long-time supporter of UCF and has served on the Board of Directors for many years.
