Governance & Development Manager
Dave is UCF’s Governance & Development Manager, bringing more than 25 years of professional experience in the UK and East Africa, including 20 years living and working in Uganda and across the wider region.
After completing a degree in oceanography, Dave began his career as an engineering consultant specialising in water management. His career has since spanned both the public and private sectors, encompassing renewable energy, construction, waste and hazardous materials management, sensitive facilities and estate management, and health, safety and environmental compliance.
At UCF, Dave combines this broad technical and management experience with extensive regional knowledge to strengthen governance, organisational development and the practical delivery of conservation programmes. His role supports UCF’s continued growth while helping ensure that projects, partnerships and operations are well managed, accountable and focused on delivering tangible results on the ground.
