Victoria Stockings

Victoria Stockings is a humanitarian committed to environmental protection, community development, and positive change.

She began her career in communications, developing a strong foundation in listening, storytelling, and building relationships with people from all walks of life. She later moved into risk management consultancy, supporting charities and individuals operating in complex environments, before joining The HALO Trust and working in landmine clearance operations across Asia, Africa, and the former Soviet Union.

Her time in Uganda fostered an enduring connection to the country, its communities, and remarkable landscapes. Today, Victoria combines her passion for animals, conservation, and people by supporting regional initiatives that protect natural habitats and empower women. She also mentors emerging scholars from West Africa.

Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Violence, Conflict, and Development, alongside qualifications in education, negotiation, and training.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and horseback riding.
